Fattorie Azzolino

  “Fattorie Azzolino" is the evolution of an ancient wine-growing estate of the Sacco family.
Located at an altitude of 400 m, it takes its name for the area of the town of Monreale where it stands at about 50 km away from the city of Palermo.
The privilege of the farm is that it is located in a truly extraordinary natural and climatic context: its vineyards draw their vitality from the hot morning sun and are then refreshed by the cool breeze of the evening.
The rich vegetation, the surrounding hills, the olive trees around the vineyards seem to preserve these marvelous white and red bunches of grapes that grow naturally healthy and rich.
The farmstead was once an important producer of white wines made from autochthonous grape varieties. Today it produces both fine red and white wines with Sicilian and international varieties of grapes grown on our estate.
  We strictly use organic farming methods including the most technologically advanced as well as the traditional ones typical of the days of yonder. The grapes are processed, vinified and aged with great care and devotion in the continuous search for the best quality and finest elegance of its products.
  Our farm works with great perseverance and enthusiasm, fully aware of its strong roots, respectful for all of the values typical of the countryside: love, sacrifice and passion.
