SOIL: Deep clayey – sandy with alkaline reaction.
ALTITUDE: 350 m above sea level
GRAPE HARVEST: Hand picked in the half of September.
WINEMAKING: Long-lasting maceration over the skins and slow controlled temperature fermentation. Sharpening in oak tonneau-barriques and afterwards in bottle.
WINE DESCRIPTION: Ruby-red colour. Intense and spicy scent of red fruits and liquorice. In mouth it's powerful and persistent with a good acid-tannic balance.
MATCHING WITH: Mediterranean plates with strong intensity, braised meats, lamb, sausages, salamis and aged cheese.
OTHER: Recommended serving temperature: 18 °C.
Store horizontally in cool dark place.
Storing time: 4 - 6 years.
