SOIL: Deep clayey – sandy with alkaline reaction.
ALTITUDE: 350 m above sea level
GRAPE HARVEST: Hand picked and carefully selected at the end of September.
WINEMAKING: Cold pre-fermentation maceration and slow fermentation under the skins. Sharpening in steel and subsequentely in bottle.
WINE DESCRIPTION: Deep Ruby-red colour and exuberant character. Intense and persistent scent of red and black fruits and spices.
In mouth it's full-bodied and quite tannic. Harmonious and persuasive.
MATCHING WITH: First plates with strong intensity, braised meats, lamb, sausages and aged cheese.
