LOCATION: Country of Monreale, neighbouring the settlement of Camporeale

ALTITUDE: 400 m above sea level with sharp temperature differences between night and day

AREA: Approx 50 ha

CROPS: Vineyards of the following grape varieties: Nero D’avola, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay, Catarratto for a total of 23 ha and 110,000 plants. The remaining area is covered by sowable land, olive groves,pastures and woods.

IRRIGATION: Drip irrigation in the vineyards with water from the estate's lake, approx. 38,000 cubic meters.

FERTILIZATION: Organic plus the addition of organic irrigation to supplement micro-elements.

PRUNING: Runner System.

TREATMENTS: According to the regulations of organic farming.

STRATEGY : Fattorie Azzolino, according to own productivity, has contracted agreements with external producers about specially white cultivation, such as Ansonica, Grillo and Chardonnay, in order to pick up a quantity of grapes grown up in areas with different climate conditions but cultivated under farm standard control and methods.
